DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER

Are you a savvy digital communications professional with a solid understanding of web technologies and experience of managing a team? If this sounds like you then you may be just the Project Manager that we are looking for.

You will be part of an integrated department that includes, developers, planners and designers. Using your proactive approach, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects and developing client account relationships within a busy digital production environment. You will identify potential problems early on to help minimise their impact on budgets and timescales and will create project processes and documentation, ensuring that your team follows these processes accurately.

You know good web design when you see it. It is essential that you have good communication and interpersonal skills and are confident in dealing direct with clients at all levels, including senior management, both in meetings and via the phone and email.

We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills, an exceptional eye for detail and who takes extreme pride in their, and the teams, work.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and monitor the Project team,
• Maintain regular contact with the Client Project Manager providing the status of the project progress,
• Ensure that any commitments, or changes to commitments are communicated effectively to all parties involved,
• Ensure that resources and funding are available/effective across all projects,
• Ensure that all projects are based upon pre-approved requirements,
• Identifying opportunities for efficiency on projects to increase profitability,
• Track the status of deliverables and any decisions made regarding project changes and outstanding issues,
• Update documents and the project work plan to reflect any changes or commitments required,
• Ensure that project related documentation is updated and delivered to the client on time
• To constantly monitor processes and documentation, identifying new ways in which to streamline managed projects, increase profitability and client satisfaction,
• You will work closely with the Directors to manage Studio resources.

• You have worked in a digital company for a while,
• Be fluent in written and oral English,
• You have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and are a competent internet user.

The following points are useful but not essential:

• Experience with electronic time sheeting, ticketing systems and bug tracking,
• Experience in managing client expectations,
• Knowledge of accessibility, web standards, SEO and PPC,
• Knowledge of email marketing,
• Knowledge of content management systems,
• Knowledge of front end and back end technologies including (X)HTML/CSS, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Flash, AJAX, XML,
• Knowledge of Photoshop,
• Knowledge of Information and Systems Architecture,
• Any Project management qualifications.
